ParticipantQuestion for Jim if he’s about. 🙂
(But anyone’s allowed to answer.)
This machine has the red plastic interlock, so no pecker/cable if that’s significant. I presume that makes it “digital control”? 😕
Forgot to take no. off mtr. label but it’s yellow plastic socket with 7 terminals.
Also how much do you have to spend with Qualtex for free delivery (can’t find on website, despite having account since 1 year) and do they do courier delivery like Con/Mpt?
TIA,

I have fitted ARM20’s to any and every type of GDA produced motor without problems over the past 30 years. I know Hotpoint used to supply at least three different types but I have had very few failures on ARM20’s compared to gen ones TBH.
You can tell if its a digital control by the timer unit, hybrid unit = digital control, separate timer and module = analogue.

That’s great. Thanks Jim. I’d better get my order in Monday morning before you run them out of stock.
😆

Always carry a couple, still fitting an average of one a week. 😀

I always use the original tacho magnet as they do vary.

Err, the ARM20 does not come with a magnet so you always have to swop over the original. 😉 😀

Sorry, didn’t know as I don’t deal with Qualtex so my mixing and matching is with secondhand parts. 😳

Still not used Qualtex online yet. That last one was sorted with a bit rescued from my “scrapheap”. I never quite know what’s in there.
Am now contemplating putting in an order (8O, I say, steady on!) and am wondering how much I need to spend for free delivery. Also what is meant by, “dealer price” as this seems quite a bit cheaper than what appears in my shopping basket? Thankyou for doing qualtex’s provision of information for them (small Grr.).

If Qualtex provide their own van delivery in your area however it may be your minimum spend much lower? Speaking personally as a long term Qualtex customer using their own delivery van my minimum spend is just (say) a tube of Debor glue (for example )

Dealer price shown is pretty much the trade price you will pay. Special deals can be struck on regular bulk order needs but as a rule I only order on a single unit basis anyway and have never bought more than 10 of anything…… 😆
HTH?

Thanks Martin. There was a van round here until about 5 years ago. Then we all went internet and the van man retired. Spares were delivered once a week and the customers just had to put up with it. Mine still have to wait a bit. 😆

Watch out Mike, sounds like Jim may just have knicked that job off you, after all how many Creda 17087’s can there possibly be still working these days? 😆
Out of interest, I’ve just checked my database and the last ARM20 I fitted was way back in December 1997……..and it shows I still have one on van stock….amazing!!!! 😯

I carry two and have fitted over a dozen this year alone, several 17087’s still going round here and many more WM machines. 😀
