    Hi guys.

    Problem with above dishwasher.
Will fill happily during pre wash then wash and empty OK.

Start to fill on main wash but will cut off water flow before correct level by activating anti flood diaphram on water valve.

Have checked for blockages in sump pressure chamber and in air hoses to pressure switch and anti flood diaphram……no fault found.

Have changed water valve twice but fault remains.

Have removed air hose to water valve and blanked off in take to pressure chamber but it still cuts off leaving water valve solonoid humming away.

Is there another pressure switch on this model?

    Any ideas guys.

    Thanks. Chris.

What you may be getting is the valve locking out because the thing is trying to prevent an overfill.

Has anyone had a “go” at this thing before you got there? If so take a look at the 2 pressure hoses on the sump. The pink one should be uppermost and feeds the valve lock out. Ensure both the hoses are a good snug fit.

Inside the D/W take off the syphon cap, 1 screw. Pull out both syphons and ensure they are clean I suggest changing the left hand one for part number 50220551001 which is transparent rather than blue. It is longer, carries more water and more likely to evaccuate.

Take a look at the small opaque hose in the base that loops round between the stubs under the syphon container, (About 4″ long). Ensure it lies flat and is clear.

This should sort it, if not a new sump may be the answer, not that bad a job.
