A long standing customer, had the old Hotpoint top loaders for years.
About six months ago she asked me to connect this heap of junk to the plumbing. I told her at the time she would hate it and said she should have contacted me first but hey ho.
True to form it has already had several service visits but today she asked me top pop in to check on a leak thinking it may be the plumbing.
Water on the floor at front but all plumbing is A1.
There was water on top of the lifting arm at the front but the pump filter was bone dry and doesn’t look to have been touched since installation.
The only thing I could see was evidence of water streaks down the front left hand side.
Are these machines prone to oversoaping, it is a very soft water area round here?

not being funny Jim but is the dispenser moulding in the lid fitted? (item number 8 in partfinder view of the lid/console)
I had a leaker of these and as I see so few I did not realise it was missing until some hours later!
