    Hi Folks,

    I need the part number for motor carbons for this machine. The Bosch website indicates the standard 154740 brushes but thats not the type fitted. This is a motor thatI have not seen before, although I look at a lot of these machines. The motor looks a bit of a Bosch/AEG hybrid, with Brushes in white plastic holders similar to those used on some of the Lux group models.

    I want to try new brushes as the brushes, although hardly worn are noisy, almost as if there is a segment high on the armature. The armature looks like new. Machine runs like a dream once it builds up a few revs, only seems to be a problem on distribute.

    Did you take the brushes apart?

    Normally once you get the plastic apart it reveals that you can fit the standard bosch brushes.

    I found out the answer to this by accident whilst looking up parts for a different model. 173028- exactly what I want.
