    Hi all,

    I have moved in to a property that has the mentioned washer/dryer. It has been fine but recently it emits a high pitch noise when tumble drying. This only appears to happen when it has been on for a while (1hr+) so possibly when it gets hot.

    Could it be a dry bearing or something? It doesn’t sound like a rubbing noise.

    Fan motor, possibly. Drag it out and get the top of to listen properly. Don’t stick your fingers in…..
