Have a hose kit to fit to a diplomat/servis(8512) type ,machine. The hose kit has no instructions.
Hot and cold internal inlets are connected together before entering the soap dispenser.
I wondered if the restrictor/valve supplied is a pressure restrictor for the cold valve or a non return valve for the hot valve to stop the cold water pressure forcing open th diaprham on the hot valve.
Has this customer had a previous problem previously?
Servis had a bad problem with the cold pressure backing up hot tanks and flooding around 10 years ago and went to double hoses but I never knew them to fit a non return valve in the hot valve. What is in the kit and how many inlets?
I can’t find a picture of this kit but on the old Servis I either converted to 2 hoses or made it cold fill by blanking off the hot valve.

the part is a kit and its the plastic type hose, like a thin version of a drain hose. I am sure it comes with a piece of paper showing how to assemble it. I have one in the van, will let you know in a bit.
BTW have you checked the module? when these hoses split in the “vee” it normally sprays out a jet directed straight at the module.
