Hi all and Happy New Year!
Went to a Hotpoint WF860 which has the very large lcd display. Sorted the fault but noticed the display flickering and sometimes not displaying. The facia module is part number Hpt1604666. It just happened about a month ago we broke a Hotpoint WD865 and kept the facia module which is also part number Hpt1604666. She was pretty pleased when we said she could have it for the third of the cost of a new one but when I fitted it F09 (eeprom error) comes up (which I half expected) and I don’t have any info on configuring the facia module to her machine. 😕 Can anyone help or have the intructional bulletin that I guess would come with a new one. Cheers.

I don’t know about that model but I know you don’t need to do anything with the more basic board used on machines like my WF540. You can even add or remove rotary controls to suit as they just clip onto the pcb.

It definately needs to be configured as it worked perfectly on the old machine which was scrapped with failed bearings. Thanks for your reply though.

The flickering display happened just out of warranty and she has used it like that ever since, which is probably geting on for a couple of years now.
The fault I went for was simply a blocked pump which was easily sorted. Tested machine, worked fine. Returned with the other facia module, F09 error, put her old facia module back on, back to flickering display but now works fine again. Thats the dilema. I think she will have to live with it as it seems to be needing both boards replaced. Thanks for your replies.
