our whirlpool awo/d 4505 washing machine decided to bounce its way around our kitchen floor, i found one of the dampers was badly worn and have replaced it.
Upon trying the machine again the drum still seems to be shaking badly and the service light comes on along with the rinse and anticrease lights after a couple of minutes, this machine is less than two years old any help would be much appreciated.

The machine should fill, then start to tumble gently. If it fills then starts banging about violently, the motor will be running without speed control. This could be down to the tacho (feedback) circuit in the motor; broken wiring (common) or a pcb problem.

If it only does it on the spin sequence, I’d be looking for a blockage.

Power off if you intend to work on the machine yourself.
