ParticipantHi,
Our Tecnik TKD 795/3 has just packed up.
It stopped after the prewash, but had filled for the main wash and all it was doing was clicking, could it be the PCB at fault? This is on the Normal 65oC cycle. It is about 3/4 years old.
Thank you,
Oliver.

ParticipantCould possibly be a stuck or seized motor or motor impellor . You will need to get the RHS panel off and check the rear of the wash motor to see if the motor will turn .
The clicking could be the relay in the control module trying to start the motor
Power off if checking.

Hi Paul,
It has just started working again for no reason. It must be an intermittant fault.
By the way its other details are, sorry should have put them in my original post.

FD8511 000436.It is now just completeing a rinse only programme. Will try a Normal 65oC tonight and see the out come.
Thank you very much for the reply, I will reopen this thread if it goes wrong again.
Thanks once again,
Oliver.

Its just completing a Normal 65oC as I type this and all is well, its working properly and hasn’t stopped or started to click.
So I am baffled to what caused this but am really glad it is working again!
Cheers Paul,
Oliver.

Hi Chris,
Can’t be, its on a hot water supply. I had been running hot water before putting it on, the kitchen is nice and warm as well, haven’t turned the heating off for days!
Took ages to clear the ice off the drive and garden path, its frozen solid, nearly got stuck in Halifax last Tuesday! Great Yorkshire weather!

Purely out of interest what do you proffessionals think to this machine? It has not “Intensive” cycle, only “Normal 65oC” and “Economy 50oC”. As we do alot of cooking an intensive wash would be good.
Personally I am not too keen on it……….
😕
