I’ve had a god look through these forums and seen loads of people with similar issues.

The machine will do a cycle but then starts the beeping at the end and won’t empty the water. I’ve tried all the filter cleaning and even have the waste going into a bucket to eliminate the spigot etc.

The pressure switch has been removed and cleaned as per some of the posts here. No joy with that.

There was a really helpful post here https://www.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/modules. … 671#242671

I am starting to suspect that its something to do with the pressure switch being faulty (even though it appears clean) or that the waste pump is not working.

Is there a way to test the pressure switch, to know whether it needs replacing? And could the waste pump be blocked? Can I get access to it to see that its clean.

Any advice would be great before I start spending money on spares 🙂

    Keep up the good work

As you surmised four flashes is no drain detected in the time allowed. You state that the machine has stopped full if water, therefore the water indicator (pressure switch) is unlikely to be at fault as it will be holding in the full position due to the weight of water.

A blockage or drain pump failure is more likely. Check sink coupling first (easy). Bail all water out of the machine, then remove the decor door, lower front cover plate and the plug. Drain pump is at the front and is a twist fit to remove.

Checked the sink coupling as you suggested. Found a small piece of plastic from the crockery tray suck inside.

Once it was all back together – worked perfectly

Thanks very very much for your advice!
