Have a NEFF dishwasher model S5453X1GB-50 which has blown the pcb by the relay and also taken out the triacs on the circuit board.
Ordered a new module-control board part 442394 to replace the blown unit which has Typ:J
    090805 01 473 LO18
On the plastic outer case but does this new unit need programming or just plugged back in? A friend has told me that they need Model coding by holding down two buttons and press the main switch.

Can anybody clear this up for me to get the NEFF up and running again?
Thanks in advance for any help.

    Chris

First thing is…. if it’s blown triacs, then there’s a real possibility that the new one may also go bang.

You need to find out what the triac is switching

If it needs coding there will be instructions with the new pcb.

    Thanks superfix

Checked the old Bosch board and found no direct shorts to earth.
New module control board plugged in and all is up again and running.

Same old Bosch problem with burnt out track by relay and arced contacts found inside relay K1.

Instructions were found wrapped up inside corrigated paper. Need new specs.

    Thanks
