Hi
Customer has just moved into a new house and the old kitchen has a DeDietrich induction hob which when using the two high power rings at the same time they switch on & off continuously…… any ideas don’t want to make a fool of myself………..scratching my head in front of the customer.

These hobs are powered by 2 main power boards , 1 for the left hand 2 hobs (front and back) , 1 for the right hand ( front and back) hobs.
You CANNOT have the 2 left hand OR 2 right hand boards BOTH on max power.
If you select say 15 on the rear right hand board then try to select 15 on the front right hand board the power board will compensate and set one to 8 and the other to 7.
Advise the customer if she requires 2 boards on full she needs to use 1 hob on the right side and 1 hob on the left side! Otherwise the power boards regulate the power!Hope this helps
