My dishwasher got stuck, after completing a wash correctly, indicating 8 on the display and without any possibility to operate it anymore.
What the error 8 means ?
I have read on another post ( http://www.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/modules.p … +whirlpool ) that it relates to the water indicator but the explanations go to describe the sump of another dishwasher that do not correspond to my dishwasher so i cannot follow them.
Can anybody help on what to do ?

The error codes are *probably* the same. When you say that the “sump does not correspond” to your machine, do you mean that there is no black mesh in the sump? Does your one have a clear plastic dome showing instead?

Correct Penguin45, the sump is a clear plastic dome with an hole at 5 o’clock.
that probably access to an hidden area of the sump.
