Don’t know if it’s been mentioned but be very careful when fitting the new type merloni dishwasher element. It is a tight fit on the end of the wash motor and i managed to press the live link onto the earthed part.
Managed to repair the pcb damage but you have to see it to believe the design. I had assumed the pcb had been damaged by the old element.
