    Hi I have an indesit 530 dishwasher and the first light is flashing and the cycle won’t run. I have done lots of searching and can only find discussions about when the first and third light are flashing – but it is definatley just the first….any advice?

    Flood protection activated – water has leaked into the tray under the machine.

    Power off, towels down and tip the machine to a good angle to drain the tray.

    If you get a repetition, find the leak.

    we now have a working dishwasher again which is marvellous 😆
