tricity bendix oven

    hi tricity bendix tiara sb200/3 the fault is not heating well kinda not heating ????? i have replaced the thermostat both elements are ok when im at the house the oven heats up and the thermostat clicks off then comes on again ok but when im not there the customers says she puts it on an hour later opens it up and the oven is only warm ????????????

    any ideas please

    You could check the voltage at the elements in case there is a high resistance somewhere between the consumer unit and the elements. I once went to a luke warm electric shower and measured 180 volts at the element.

    elements for these are ridiculously cheap anyway. connects pattern ones tend to be identical to originals 🙂

    Have you checked the thermal cutout ?
