    Evening All,
Machine is three months old, elderly couple, not over loaded or misused. (the machine that is, not the couple) As the machine ramps up to distribution speed the outer drum hits the soap box at the point where the soap dispenser hose connects. Apart from the annoying noise, it’s going to cause some damage soon if I don’t find out what’s causing the problem. Anyone else seen this problem or have any suggestions?
    Thanks for any help Ron

Is the small restraint spring at the rear in place?

There were some instances of this being adrift or damaged in some way in transit. I have not seen any but John Hopwood did mention it to me a while back.

    Evening Jim,
Yes forgot to mention, already checked rear spring OK. On reflection, the distribution speed did seem rather slow. This may result in-uneven loads causing the tub to move too much and hit the soap box. But the oob should prevent that! Suspension legs look fine but I may recall and compare stiffness with good machine????????

hi, just been to one of these to day 😯 1month old. the noise is coming from the single shock absorber, i thought it was a bearing when i first heard it.

So, is it loose, worn, is it the mountings or the suspension unit itself ?

Ron, if you read this how did you resolve your noisy machine?

    Jim.

    Hi Ron,
did you get to the bottom of your problem noise. You should check the left hand front weight to see if it is loose. ❓
