    How long is it since this happened? I’ve got a Philips 6lb dryer and never done a thing to it but don’t recall when I got it so is there anyway of telling?
    Was it a management buy out?
    Still love what they turn out…..apart from the condenser. 😥 😥

    Oh dear. Many, many years ago there was a management buyout, shortly before Whirlpool bought the Philips business IIRC.

    Yup, 1986 according to the Crosslee website.

    best thing about them is being british built is theres no euro-based price rises now.

    just why the hell they couldnt fit adjustable feet to the aw44 i dont know?!
