    Evening all,

I’m looking at buying a cheap 30cm Caple wine cooler, the seller says the cooler lights up but doesn’t cool any more. He says it’s simple to re-gas the unit.

One to avoid or at a bargain price is it easy and cost effective to get it cooling again?

    Thanks

Yes, you can recharge the unit.

I would however I’d advise that you avoid it like the plague as I’d bet it’s not quite so simple and buying any item that doesn’t work from the get-go is a huge risk.

To recharge a unit will cost, usually, £60-100 an specialist equipment is required.
