    Morning all,

I have a kitchen island unit that on one end we are having a 590 wide fridge and 300 wide wine cooler fitted.

In order to get maximum space i the fridge, I don’t want the fridge to have an indented veg section that allows for the kickboard to be placed across the front. How badly described is that? But hopefully you’ll get what I mean.

I want the fridge to be full depth top to bottom and to fit a kitchen door to the front of it. As both items are on the end of the island unit, it should look ok.

Do I need to buy a specific fridge or is it just a set of brackets that I need?

    Thanks TN

    Hi TN

Is the height available the standard 860mm to underside of worktop?

    Hi Don,

It might even be one or two cms higher. The kitchen was hand made and put it by the previous owners and we are planning to get the fitters back to change a few bits. Seen as non of it is off the shelf, we should be able to get any size and shape of door/plinth etc made.

    Cheers TN

    HI TN

In that case you may be able to fit This Neff in column fridge under your worktop, you may have to adapt the install as the cabinet design is different to an under worktop built in fridge like this one

The only other option would be a traditional freestanding fridge.

    thanks Don,

that looks about perfect, thank you. The dimension should be fine, do I need to know anything specific about the ventilation – I guess it’s coming out of the back of the unit?

This will fit next to the 300mm cooler in one end of our island unit that’s 1m x 2.5m. The rest of the space in the unit is cupboards and shelving

    Cheers TN

Yep you will need to consult the installation instructions for ventilation. The only other area of concern would be if it needed a repair whilst under warranty, Neff could say “it`s not been fitted in accordance……… and under our terms of the guarantee it`s now null and void”.
