Hi lads , i’m hoping for some help on a friends dad’s oven to identify a part/part number for an old New World oven.

The basic premise is that there is a fan control board in the oven that has apparently ‘twisted’ away ( apparently the plastic legs that the board sits on have broken causing the board to move ) from the fan that keeps it cool. There is a thermal fuse that has now gone bang on the board.

My friends dad has told me that he remembers replacing this fuse previously , having bought a replacement from Maplins , but that they don’t sell them anymore.

Does this sound like a fault that you’ve had yourselves ?

I said i would ask on here to see if the problem is a familiar one or if anyone had a part number for a replacement fuse.

As for model numbers…..over the phone as they don’t live nearby…..all he told me was that its a New World oven with the following numbers on :

    GC appliance number 11.641.09
    CKG21514
    WE6402N00

Are these model numbers correct ?

Cheers in advance for any help

    Paul
