    Hello

Wonder if anyone can help me.

I have a Diplomat ADP 4550 double Oven in my kitchen, it has developed a problem with what appears to be overheating and then it shuts everything down (safety feature I presume).

I thought it was the thermostat however I have since changed this today and the problem still persists.

When you turn the tempetature contol knob you can hear the thermostate clicking in and out however this does not appear to make the oven temperature light go off. Therefore temperature in oven keeps rising until it eventually shuts everything off.

I would be grateful of any other possible solutions to this problem.

I shall look forward to any replies
    Many thanks
    Donald

sounds like a wiring issue to me cause the neon and element is getting a live from some where , check terminal block is not burn,t , check and see if theres a 3rd wire comming of element and to where it goes, or maybe second stat is faulty is unlikely to have 2 stats with same fault tho
