That is all that is printed on the back plate, please can someone tell me approximate how old it is and how fast it spins.

Very, very old. I was repairing those when I worked for Hotpoint and I left them over 30 years ago. 😯
Most parts now obsolete.
Spin speed would be approx 2850 rpm. Bear in mind that a small spin dryer doing that speed is equivalent to a modern automatic doing around 1000 to 1200 rpm. Its all down to the peripheral speed. 😉

Thank you so much iadom, I had a feeling it was of some age but that surprises me as its still going strong. It was given to me by an elderly lady many years ago now and although I don’t use it often, its been handy to have.
It was my 9 year old grandson who wanted to know all this after I got it out the other day, he’d never seen one before. 😆Many thanks again. :tup:
