ParticipantToday has been like a return to when I first started out on my own and it wasn’t good. I put it down to having had man Flu all week so my Numbnut receptors were shot.
2nd call of day cancelled 1/2 hour before call slot.
3rd call took ages to find in an area I gave up moons ago ‘cos of numptys. Had given the woman a quote of £65 worst case for a no drain, been noisy on drain for a while call which she said fine, I just want it working. Finally get there to a teletubby in a football kit, headset on attached to a playstation controller. House was a pit (alarm bells) WM51 in corner no spin. Oh it’ll probably be cheaper than I quoted, I mentioned as I pulled the machine out, should be around £50 …. no reply. Without removing then lid I asked if he wanted it doing…..’no money can you come back Monday’. My reply was ‘as you’ve already been given a quote…cough’, for fear of any repeat custom from them.
4th call to a Bosch WAS32466 with F18 :con: and loads of broken door pieces. £80 odd quids worth to fix a handle 😯 and doubtful whether they want it repaired. Not trying for ISE as in a care home and the machines not well looked after 😥
5th call, roughest estate in town cash call…..whoopee.
6th call cancelled 1/4 hour before. Only booked in the morning.
Last call, recall from last week WD640 no start after fitting new solenoid valve. Some numpty builder has tw***ed the start button and the board switch has done a runner. At least I’ll eventually get paid for that one.
Life on Mars it felt like.
ant over have a good weekend all 😉

It really is a piece p**s this self employed lark isn’t it. 😆
Just what you need at this time of year when HMRC is after its pound of flesh, plus both arms and legs. 😥

I am at present trying to explain to a numpty head, the timer I replaced last year in her d/w had nothing to do with water in the base a month later. She wants a full £200+ refund. I wont go into details but, she sent me a letter after my visit, I replied. No hear for some months, then a job come thru via an Insurance company, name & add looked familiar, ah ha, same person trying it on, I refuse to go back, manufacturer refuse job, insurance want me to go, again no, for a bloody good reason, (she and hubby recon they know better than I and kept butting in and arguing with me, well would you return?) Insurance gives her mony back. She gets out another company, holes in S/S tub (write off), now wants me to still repay for job done mid last year, and recons it was the holes in the S/S tub that was the original prob.
AAAAhhhhhh
