I dont exactly know the model but my question goes like this. For the last month or so we would put a dishwasher tablet into the dishwasher turn it on and then once finished open it up only to find either a full tablet left or bits of tablets still left. What is causing the problem and how do we fix it

Circulation problem. Model number is crucial – check round the edges of the door.

    We’re all guessing, otherwise.

Blocked spray arms or main circulation pump/motor faulty. Could be motor capacitor or motor itself siezed.

Check all of the small holes in the spray arms first.

When you set it to a wash programme does it appear to be making the ‘normal’ noise.

Set it to wash and during the cycle open the door quickly and see if there is a good jet of water coming out of both spray arms.

TBH, we generally advise the use of separate detergent, rinse aid and salt if required. There are lots of problems associated with Indesit machines in particular due to using combination tablets.

Fairy Active Bursts are also a better alternative to tablets.
