Called to this machine, when starting a program after pressing the start button the machine starts to fill but after about a minute the start button flashes and the wash.rinse and spin lights illuminate. Carried out the test sequence and got a E37 fault which is a board problem. Can anyone out there tell me if there is something else I should check before ordering a new board a £140??
You should definitely check insulation resistance on the drier element. If it’s below 40 megohms it can cause all sorts of grief. Similar rules apply to motor, often low due to damp, look for condensation on brushes holders. And I’ve read that wash heater can also cause similar probs, though I’ve not seen one myself, probably because limescale is unknown here.
