    Hi
    Can anyone help?
I’m a woman and know nothing about ovens !!!
The other day I smelt a bit of a fumey smell coming from the oven, the the next day I used the oven and my smoke alarm went off !!
When I opened the oven there was smoke coming from it and again this overbearing fumes smell.

I’ve turned it off and not used it since.
Does anyone know or can tell me what has happened and do I need to just buy a new one, or can it be serviced/parts bought?

    Thanks Louise 😕

Could we start with a model number? We might have some sort of chance then.

Did you by chance cook a roast in it prior to this fault…the fault you are describing MAY just be fat on your elements! The only way to get this off is burn it off (open all doors and windows to outside and close all to inside as it can get rather smokey and smelly)

If you try this please dont leave the appliance unattended AT ANY TIME!
If you are not sure i suggest you call a technician!

    Jazz!
