Participanthi all, im after a supplier for a mac97A8 its a triac thyrister off an indesit module, i think it controls the relays, i have been looking for two weeks now, i can only seem to get them in bulk 5000+ any help would be appreciated. thanks

Keymastersim,
This is often the case as we generally don’t go down to component level on boards as there is no need. Probably you will be stuck with buying a new board from Indesit. 😕

thanks for your quick reply. where would you recomend gettin a module from, just waitin on the customer to give me the wmc model # its the type of module which has about 5 rellays on it and is about twice the length of the usual board.

Good grief “Triac Tyristors” is a bit heavy for us to have any knowledge of or care about to be honest. We in the trade change whole Module boards BUT try the attached address as these guys are good at fixing the boards for you OK?

If you really want to go down the route of replacing just the triac, RS components sell them. Follow the rather ridiculously huge url link below. About 20p each I think.
