    Side by side S20DRBB32A/G 8586 158 15000

    The ice maker is fine but the dispenser/crusher does not work. Micro switch is ok i have voltage of some sort to the motor and 200 ohm through motor. When i remove the ice container from inside the freezer door and try to turn the metal drive from the motor it is rock solid, even with a little pressure with some grips i could not move it. Is it supposed to be like this? (i didnt want to force it). Is the motor jammed?

    Any ideas?

    i would romove the auger motor and check it out, some times the gearing between auger motor and ice bin gets frozen up ! so check that too!
