    just been to a smeg dwi64 and have got a E3 fault, checked heater element.
    anyone got any clues please.

    From “Known Error Codes” thread:

    E3 – 1st, 2nd flashing, 5th lit – no heat in time allowed.

    is it heating?
    if not, some have a restable thermostat, or dry joint on heater relay on pcb or pcb itself if it only heats for a very short period.

    thanks for that chaps i think it might be the pcb.
    i have checked the heater element and the thermostat so its pcb time.
