    Model GC2228EEDB/11
    Found that the ice dispenser solenoid had overheated and melted the plastic surround and lever. ordered parts and fitted. Have now discovered that the solenoid is energied all the time even with the front control touch-pad disconnected. The micro switch is working okay so I guess it is the PCB.
    Any thoughts appreciated. Could it be anything else causing it to be continually energised?

    Thanks for the info. have been given the part number 61003693 but not sure if this correct from the diagram, as this has a ribbon attached and I thought the pcb didn’t. can anyone confirm.
