    HOTPOINT WMD960PUK
    hi, the machine is not that old…..but with indeshxt ,thats the way thay are!
    this one has come up with the f01. motor traic fault…ive Earth tested motor all ok .fitted new emw pcb , still no luck no motor action again.

    its got the induction motor in it (non carbon brush motor) i get readings from all the pins on the motor that its working ….but it…its a no goer. :rolls:

    before i fit a new motor ,are these motors playing up a lot like this ,
    and will a new motor snuff it again at such a young age,???? 😥

    There is not a lot to go wrong on these motors. There are 2 thin wires from the tacho coil, the 3 stator wires for the 3 phases and 2 pale grey wires for the TOC. If these all give sensible meter readings it should work.

    ive had a lot of them where the wire breaks off in the motor plug

    rubbish, arent they
