    s/no.310013590712 washer drier.
went to this appliance, fault reported that drier not heating, took top off and both manual reset stats tripped, cannot see temps on stats, checked part no’s for new ie 41024208 – 182degsC
    41017289 – 162degsC
    91213520 – NLA
the fan, blower, ducting, condenser, and door seal all clear. no blockages, and no apparent fault on the m/c, other than customer overloaded, etc. but both stats tripped, is their an alternative auto reset one out there, equivalent to the 162degsC stat. or is there something else causing this ?.
    thanks TELL..
ps. would of thought it more sense to have an auto reset cycling stat.

    no

u didnt mention the valve.. is there water going in, and is that little tube clear at the bottom?

they have been known to get hotspots on the hater , very near the cut outs

41013142 is an ntc sensor on that one, so it should be doing the work?
41024208 is just a cut-out, suggesting that the temperature control isn’t working. If they’ve tripped, they’ve done their job.

so which one could be the temp control? obviously i would think this one 41017289 – 162degsC. but its a one shot cut out, manual reset, there must something out there to put a cycling stat in its place. and keep the man/reset saftey stat there to do its job anything that reaches 182degsC

The NTC is connected to a little pcb at the bottom at the back. They burn out contacts and thus you lose temperature control – the safeties then do their job and cut-out.

    got you now chris.
could not understand how it cycled at a given lower temp, especially being both resetable stats. do you have a part no. cause this is the 2nd time i have reset this, not knowing there was a pcb that checks cycle temps.
