been looking at this one trying various things, heater, motor, pcb, the fault is when on wash,it fills, heater seems to come on even when setting on cold wash, but the motor trys to turn and does a little but then wash/door locked lights stay on but no action at all, also on spin it only spins as if warming up 4 the final long spin, but again aborts,no fault codes have ever came up,and again lights stay on,only had a motor/pcb from wd420 to try part wise, but did exactly the same as above, one more strange thing it did tho was, filled on wash, aborted,so tryed wash again, and it filled way too high, almost double norm wash, maybe p.switch, any help at this point would b much appriaciated

Have you checked the heat insulation? I have found reading less than 5mohm can cause probs.

Should be worth trying a pressure switch or, if you don’t have one, open up the old one to check it, which you can do without personal injury if you’re careful. Occasionally they have a broken switch contact which flaps about instead of acting positively, leading to intermittent and strange faults. If not that, maybe it’s a fault somewhere in the wiring loom.
When you say, “heater seems to come on” that could be just the system self-check, if it doesn’t stay on, so it could be a red herring.

sounds like a module / eprom fault – fills up slight motor action both ways then no motor action at all. and i bet it’s one of the early ones with hot and cold fill..

as for overfilling, i would check the pressure chamber for blockage rather than changing the switch 😉
