I have the above fridge/freezer the freezer compartment is ok but the fridge is high temp the fan is not running. I have checked the fan out which is a runner, the frost free probe was giving me a resistance not sure on what value this should be or what K it is e.g. 2k 5k 10k PT1000 etc.If the frost free probe is reading out will this cause a problem with the control of the fan. I defrosted the evaporator coil then checked the fan terminal block at the back with my tester to see if I had a voltage with the power turned on which I did when I closed the freezer door the power to the fan terminal block was still there does this model have a door switch on the freezer compartment door to turn the fan on/off. There is also a door switch on the top of the fridge am I right in saying that this just turns the light on and off and also aluminates the display up blue. Or does it control the fan? Also the main control of this fridge is the freezer set point but what does the fridge set point control do? Does it control the fan also should the fan run when the freezer is calling for cooling regardless?

    Can anybody help?

power to fan does not mean that the fan motor is working….

“”I have checked the fan out which is a runner”””… have you physically seen it work ?

Before checking out anything else you need to assertain fully that the fan works. Fan motors failures are common on these.

They are not the only problem areas however but the easiest to rule out.

Also full serial number/model number, there are two versions of this if I remember correctly.
