I have just had a very irate customer on the phone, says her machine (installed April 2006 ) has ruined hundreds of pounds worth of cashmere clothing. 😥

She insists it was set to Hand Wash and that the items have been washed several times before.

Going out in the morning, sounds like an overheating problem. Has anyone had this type of fault on one of these?

She is also making loud noises about compensation for the ruined items, whats the score on that front?

Never had a problem with that at all, ever.

As for ruined items, the insurance will cover the fault but no consequential loss. 😕

Went to this earlier today, not a pretty sight. A full size jumper shrunk to the size of a dolls jumper. A full length cashmere coat that is now a very short jacket. 😥

All wiring looks fine, NTC appears OK. She said she tried it afterwards on a 40° wash and it worked normally. 😕

Last logged fault comes up as 110/H3 ..’Heater always on’, so I swapped out the PCB as per tech manual instructions to be on the safe side.
