Both the dryer and the washing m/c (separate post) have failed this week 🙁
Dryer is a TDC30 which runs but gives no heat.
Have checked the rear stats
Both have continuity….. no quick fix for me!Have checked the heater
20 Ohms or 40 Ohms depending upon the heat level switchHave checked the front stat
Has continuityDrying light does not come on, which looking at other threads seems to suggest the timer. Before I purchase….is there anything else you’d recommend I check. Could it just be the relay? I don’t have a wiring diagram but presumably the relay must switch the heater. Hopefully the drying light not coming on provides the clue.

Relay is purely a start/run device. Heater is switched directly through the timer, which is why the contacts burn out…….
You need to track the wiring back to the relevant contacts on the timer and measure from there.
Power off first, of course.

Thanks for the advice….I’ll get the meter out and have a look.
