Participanthi,
not sure any one with loads of servis experience can help.
Lady complains that her W/M wont reach full spin speed.
Had a look at all the obvious, capacitors, belts, no obvious damage to module etc.
the only thing i can think off is that the mods playing up.
we have a few new mod’s on the shelf we have had for ages , not sure if they are compatible though,
the old one was a REMCO COD 5642, the one’s we have is a H7 DMPA 11(546013401).and a REMCO 5641.
If my memory serves me right i think they were interchangable, but not sure, can any one help please.
cheers.

Hi,
If they are both DMPA then you can interchange them. I think the 5642 was the 1200 and 5641 1100 but you wouldn’t notice the difference. Have you got both the 5460…… numbers?
Rob
PS
Just gone to my van.
DMPA12 546013501 Elmarc
COD6613 546013502 REMCO
both interchangeable but different cutouts on the side so it’s a suck it and see. Had these for 10 years now.

Hi John,
Not sure there was a M340. Servis don’t include it on their website. Have you got a serial no. or the part no…546…… from the old mod and the code ie. dmpa, dmpu, dmpdc. if the codes are the same it should be ok to swap with similar spin speeds. Not the R5 versions will not swap with those without. Need a bit more info.

the only info i could get of the old one was REMCO COD 5642.
1000 spin i think buddy.
the lady is retired and doesn’t want to spend too much so i said if i had a mod on the shelf that fit she could have it for a song as i can’t see us using them now.

Take them all with you and see what is the same. Chances are you’ll never use any again so charge a bit less and it’ll work out as profitable rather than sitting on the shelf. 😉
I think all the Remcos were DMPA so one should fit.
Good luck.

check the belt ,they stretched and tricked the module ,if its a white belt change it for a black one ,if its a V Belt tension it for all its worth.
