whirlpool hob element

    Hi I am looking for a part no. for a whirlpool hob element as there is no service no. on the appliance.All thats written on the hob is easytronic and schott ceran.On the back of the element is cermaspeed model IR230 P8771D. WATTS 2400 VOLTS 240 . 461961508711.

    Generic hotplates are widely available at a fraction of Whirlpool prices.
    They sometimes light up with a different pattern when hot.
    But then again so do the genuine ones so why pay over the odds. 😉

    Cheers steve my supplier says he needs a part no. or service no. so he can send me the correct pattern part.

    230 is almost certainly the diameter of the element. Have a dekko here for some inspiration. Closest looks like last one on page.

    Cheers Mike I have since found the part no. 481225998408 .It has two coils . My supplier cant find a generic part for this and the price for a genuine part is 175 euro + vat so customer is going to work away without it for now.Thanks for the info on element man may use him in the future.

    I wasn’t suggesting you should buy from elementman. His is a retail site and normally much more expensive than Connect, Masterpart, Qualtex etc. However his site and others like it are well made and are excellent for finding what parts look like, dimensions, and especially what models they fit.

    No prob Mike most of the stuff I use is from Qualtex and I agree his site will be helpfull for finding what parts look like . Thanks again.
