I have the above dryer and its not drying properly.

The elements are heating up and have confirmed 230v to both also.

The drum spins but clothes aren’t being dried.

I thought maybe the fan part was faulty but it blows down the vent pipe so would presume its spinning?

Any ideas before i order a new machine at £150?

    Thanks Dave

Quite sure both elements are heating? Checking the supply only is firstly dangerous and secondly doesn’t tell you whether the relevant heater is actually working. Only a resistance test will tell you that.

Hi penguine, both elements were warm when i first stripped it down but what ohms should i get through the loops?

Approx 23 ohms per heater when split from the circuit – power off first.
