    Hi All,

    first thanks for a great site.. lots of info.. searched forums for last few hours but could not find specific info and then came across one reply saying “we cant give you the diagnostic codes for F&P as they are copyrighted and F&P get upset” LOL.. so thought i better query online.. 😉

    Problem:
    Will not fill the machine with cold water (not even try) and the hot start and then shudders and will not fill.. It has been progressive as cold did work and at one stage you could turn off and on and magically started working again… but has stopped completely.

    Checks performed:
    have checked hoses, all good
    have replaced cold inlet valve as thought would be worth a shot.. LOL
    Upon having problems continually found way diagnose methods and am getting erratic responses as is quite dif each time.. most common is this..
    01100011 —- think equals 198 – although must note that the last 2 lights (one is spin which is red) flash alternately..

    Wanting:
    any information and what i may need to do to resolve this problem before calling out a service man.. could there be a simple replacement required???

    Cold water valve should read approx 64ohms if you measure the resitance with a test meter.

    Hi Penguin,

    Back again.. oops…. similar prob to initial issue but as below:

    Initial Problem:
    Will not fill hot or cold… whether machine is one cold/warm or hot. you can feel it ‘shuddering’ as it tries to fill the hot water although it is unnoticable that the cold is working (hose feels like movement but not shuddering..but not 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} sure)

    Fix previously instigated:
    As per below replaced the cold inlet valve…..

    Current Problem:
    is same as above and not filling although am now getting a dif diagnostic response as per;
    0 0 1 0 1 0 1 1 which i think = 212

    ****edit.. forgot to say that even if i have the machine set to hot or cold or warm it doesnt fill the machine…


    Assistance please:
    Any input would be appreciated guru penguin…

    43 – Out of balance switch. Duff microswitch, rotten/wet wiring, bias spring not holding the drum correctly.

    (You run out of codes at 192….)
