Called to the above Bosch dishwasher.

Customer complained the machine was not working. I reset the wash and ran a test. Only problem I could find was the quick-wash button would not select. The other 3 washes would select without a problem. Customer says the quick-wash button selected before.

My thought on this is either the PCB is faulty or the program selection is corrupt.

Can anyone confirm if this particular PCB part number 264882 can be programed, and does anyone have a copy of the binary code I would need for this machine.

The washes shown on the panel are:
    [65 Intensive][65 Normal][55 Eco][Quick Wash]

Also would any of the program options eliminate (not illuminate) the end button?

I had one of these with the switch actuator (little plastic frame above the tiny switch) had broken up and bits had fallen away. Therefore the push button on the fascia would not operate the switch. Take the fascia off to see.
If the plastic frame is broken then you will need a new PCB – unfortunately……… 😥

This is a fully integrated model with the buttons on top of the door instead of on the front so I didn’t think this used the ‘plastic spring on the PCB box.

Usually if this happens the button goes soft and spongy, you can still feel it click the button on the PCB exactly the same as the working buttons.

It’ll may need re – coding then. I had a slimline machine that had problems a while back so I rang Bosch’s customer helpline, told them I had fitted a new PCB and the coding sheet had been mislaid. No problem said Bosch and e’mailed me the coding sheet straight away. Brilliant old fashioned service!!

The ‘coding’ of the machine can be checked and easily altered (reprogrammed). Let me know your email address and I can send you the correct instruction sheet. 🙂

Thanks for the coding sheet Martin, it’s much appreciated. I will take a trip back and see if it can be resolved.

The codes all show an action for the button fourth button so there can’t be an explanation for it not working but I think it’s worth taking a look at and trying to recode.

My money is on it not programing because if the fourth button doesn’t work I won’t be able to get into the program mode.

    I will let you know.

It could be that as the module mounting on these is pretty frail and as a result the module has dropped down slightly on the right hand side not allowing contact with that 4th button….maybe?

From memory I think you have to release the module from its mount anyway to access all 5 buttons in order to configure it.

Good thought and worth checking but you could feel the click of the switch it actuates.

Returned today, the PCB was properly located in the fascia.

Tried to reprogramme but as the 4th button didn’t work I couldn’t get into program mode. So it looks like a PCB fault.

The machine also had an intermittent drain fault, problem is the customer keeps checking the impeller before I get to it so can’t be 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} sure but from what he tells me I suspect it needs a pump as well as a PCB so it’s probably BER.
