I’d really like to have an ISE10. I am impressed by the company’s ethos and the apparent quality of their machines which for the price I believe are good value.
Neither Maytag nor ASKO appear to be available in France either, closest agent appears to be in the NetherlandsI understand that there would be problems supporting the 10 year guarantee outside of the UK but I am prepared to take that risk as reasonably priced spares are available and I am competent enough to repair or replace if necessary, which is i think would be unlikely anyway.
So I would like to to find a reseller close to Portsmouth who could obtain the machine so that I could come an collect on a cheap same day ferry crossing.

There’s an ISE agent on the Isle of Wight which is close to Portsmouth but will involve another ferry crossing unless he could arrange to meet you in Portsmouth with one to collect. 💡
Hi Andy,
The warranty isn’t valid outside the UK I’m afraid as you suspect, sorry.
I’m not sure who is in or around Portsmouth but we can deliver to any UK delivery point if required.

The isle of wight would be one ferry trip too far.
Hampshire appears to be devoid of any ISE suppliers. Unfortunately I do not have a suitable UK address in the south either.
Kwatt maybe a question could be asked on my behalf on the trade forum to see if there is a reseller within an hours drive of Portsmouth who could take delivery for me?

I would be happy to deliver one to the Plymouth ferry port and meet up. If it`s possible for you to get there from Roscoff.
edit: if you are prepared to drive from Portsmouth towards Devon I could meet you around half way mark.
The usual online delivery charge would be fine to cover the distance 😉Don

Don, thanks for the offer but I am very close to Caen in Normandy so Portsmouth is the only UK port I could get to on a day trip ferry. Even then I would only have about 2 hours between sailings in Portsmouth to make the the most of the special day return ferry crossing.

Then I would suggest contacting that ISE dealer on the Isle of Wight as (like Don was prepared to cooperate in order to supply you with one) he too may be just as obliging?
Isle of Wight is certainly the best bet.
Next closest with stock is Steve at Aqualectric.
I hope there will be a new dealer soon in Brighton but I suspect that’s too far.
