customer complains that the m/c is not drying clothes – fan working and tocs read ok, just blowing cold air.

Almost certainly the thermistor on the lower hose between the tub and condenser. The wiring snaps off as it is tightly zip – tied down and gets yanked out of the plug connector.
Lean the machine back, lay underneath and look up at the hose. The thermistor is on the hose facing you. Pull the two orange wires out of the zip tie to gain some slack then retag the wires with insulated amp tags. Refit and away it goes! 😉

    HTH,

    Steve.

    Thanks Steve,

I didn’t know there were two thermistors fitted on the m/c that effect the dryer- cos the top one reads ok.

The top NTC measures the hot dry airflow and the bottom NTC measures the humidity level. When either fail the dry cycle terminates after about 5 mins.

    HTH? 😀

You won’t need to replace it I shouldn’t think, just reconnect the broken wires to it as Steve mentioned earlier. 😉

But, if you do need to replace that NTC the part number is : 3792171104 😀
