    We have an ERF2832 which has developed a fault which means that the fridge temperature goes from one extreme to the other – just right to too warm and then freezing everything in the fridge compartment. The freezer section seems to be fine.

    Has anyone else experienced this fault or any idea what the problem might be?

    Can you give me the PNC number off the rating plate so I look up the right version for you?

    It sounds like a stat fault but I’d need to check the way it’s been done to be sure.

    Hi.

    It won’t be a thermostat fault as all versions of this model are electronic controls. It could be that is faulty but to be honest I would think it more likely to be a system fault.

    Does the freezer seem too cold perhaps as this may indicate a system restriction.
