    LG WD1050FHB auto washer.

Put some new bearings in this machine a few weeks ago and now the customer is saying that the timer display used to be fine but now if she uses the Delay function, the machine is “gaining time”. She says as much as 20 minutes slower…… 😕
What could have happened to the PCB when changing bearings? Nothing was dropped on the PCB, everything was dismantled as economically as possible (removed as little as possible, the only thing unplugged was the heater wiring). I have been back and checked the heater (insulation tested OK) and fill / drain cycles; the belt has a slight squeak but the motor is fine…….any ideas?
Can LG’s have this problem? I can’t fault the machine on visit but she is adamant that the cycle is now not working as it did before.

    Any LG engineers out there……!!

    Thanks,

    Steve.

I couldn’t uinderstand what she meant by “gaining time” so I went and tested everything that I thought could be at fault. Everything (as is usually the case in these situations) tested OK on visit. Insulation tested the heater – OK. Checked the pressure bottle – OK. Pump and filter clear; drain hose clear and not kinked.
Only leaves the PCB 🙁 …….anything I’ve missed?

    does sound like pcb ??

had afew where coins were stuck in sump restricting water into filter >

if you have checked all this , i would quote her for pcb

its not anything you have done changing bearing,
so cust will need to decide if she wants to spend on pcb or put up with time difference???

ps if drain hose is going into a stand pipe make sure you havent pushed hose under water level in stand pipe
