ParticipantHi,
Had this a bit ago, lights 2 and 4 on – heater fault.
Meggered the heater unit – 28 ohms continuity and resistance to earth in the Gig ohms so I presumed that was fine and purchased a new PCB
Now it appears it is not the PCB as the fault still occurs, the water is still getting steaming hot so……
Could it be overheating?
Is there anything else other than the heater unit to change? Thermostat etc?
Thanks, last throw of the dice before I scrap it.

Did you get the correct PCB, there are two different ones as I mentioned in your other thread. 😉
Could be dodgy wiring connections on the PCB.
There isn’t a temp control stat as such, the small NTC that is hard wired to the PCB and slots into the inner door controls the temp. Have you slotted that back into its clip on the door?

Yep, done all that, confirmed by serial number with espares for the PCB, perhaps the sensor has come adrift? Will check and report back.

What was the part number on the box? The one that goes C00—-. Not the one on the invoice.
Penguin45.

ParticipantRight, looked for the box, must have binned it.
Closed up the clip so that the stat was held firmly against the door and checked all connections. Still no good, dish was trips out with the 2 & 4 lights, you open it up and its steaming hot and everything is super clean.
One thing I maybe should say is that if you compare PCBs old and new, I cannot match up any numbers at all between the pair.

If you give us the full serial number we will be able to tell you the correct part number.
PS. Its not a stat it is an NTC.

Correct part number is C00143206, it does appear to be the correct part, however you would need the original box to prove it.
Also the list price of that part is £42.54 ex vat. :rolls:
