Don’t get involved with the double doors normally but a friend has one and the ice bucket won’t come out.
Supposed to lift up and pull it forward but something to the right of the back of the bucket is holding it.
Looking underneath the bucket there is a metal rod which is connected to bucket and the end goes through a hole at the back where there is a plastic square which appears to be the contact point for the metal rod,at the moment the rod is on top of it to the left, but not through the square ,should it go through the square plastic device?Re: Samsung RS21 Ice Bucket
Yes the bar should fit in the squire.
This is the solinoid that swops between cube and crushed ice.
You will just have to lift the bucket at the front and pull hard this sometimes requires a bit of force.
Then refit the ice bucket with the bar in the squire.
