    Can anyone help me – I have had this washer for 3 years or so. Recently it has been performing the wash cycle OK, then moves intro drying.

    During drying it makes a loud pop and smells of burning – as though there is a loose wire or it overheats?? I have checked the mains connection and that is OK.

    Thoughts appreciated… 😕

    Little to go on here GaryD,

    Without taking it out and checking throughout, it could simply be anything? Clearly you need the experts in to advise after inspection. The symptoms you describe are too vague to figure a likely cause I’m afraid!
