    Hi All,

I am getting AL6 on my Zanussi DES959 dish washer. I have removed the main filter inside but its not clogged up(under where the main rack sits) I have also removed the pump and it looks to be OK as well. If I remove the side there is a big blue unit which has the usual sandy liquid in it. On reading the forum I think I may need to find the IWMS if I have it. Does anyone have any pics or suggestion how to find it?

many thanks in advance for the help getting my missus off my back….lol

AL6 is no drain detected in the time allowed. If it’s full of water, you have a blockage or a pump failure. If it’s empty, there is something wrong with the water level control system – which could relate to the IWMS.

Power off if you’re sorting this yourself.

It is not full of water but the level covers the bottom of the dishwasher. I can still open the door OK. Any ideas what could be blocked? Should I be able to see the pump turning by looking at the spindle in the bush at the back?

    Many thanks for your help
